Hazard lights

Here in Klang Valley, it's raining almost every afternoon. I've noticed for the longest time of my whole driving years that car drivers like to switch on the hazard lights (double signal lights) during heavy rains and/or low visibility. IIRC from the driving lessons that I was taught almost 20 years ago, those hazard lights must only be switched on when the vehicle is stationary, so as to warn other drivers that the car is not moving on that busy road or highway.

IMHO, turning hazard lights on during heavy rains and/or low visibility conditions are big NO NOs. It poses greater danger to others. Just switch on your headlamps and that will do.

Drive safe!
